14 years ago in the heart of Glasgow, Fiona and Michael were looking for a sewing machine to make curtains for their home, instead, they…

purchased a small embroidery machine and started personalising PPE (personal, protective, equipment), and offering that to customers. This was a big hit and the clientele started to grow, The business "Ramsay and Swan" was formed, named affectionately after both their grandmother's maiden names. In 2014 the main shop location in Tradeston was set up. Christy Carson joined 6 years ago through her University's textile department and has worked her way up as the manager and specialist in Printing. Today the ever busy shop is turning around bespoke uniforms and workwear. Ensuring the clients are provided with workwear they can wear with pride.

Meet Christy, our passionate manager with over five years of experience in custom printing. Her journey began with an internship during college, where she discovered her true calling. Despite a brief stint in upholstery, Christy's heart belongs here. Her expertise even earned her an interview with the BBC for a textiles documentary. As a design consultant, Christy specializes in customer service, ensuring every client feels valued and heard. Rest assured, your custom creations are in the best hands with Christy at the helm.

Becca McCormack

Becca, an artist with a background in painting and printmaking from the Glasgow School of Art, now brings her skills to a custom embroidery and printing shop. Alongside her work there, she's active in Glasgow's print community, contributing to studios like the Glasgow Print Studio and Mars Print Studio, as well as organizing activities at "Print Clan." Becca's talent has been recognized with the RSA New Contemporaries 2024 award. Currently, she's focused on print production but aims to expand into a design consultant role. She looks forward to collaborating on creative projects.

I'm Sol, a Design Consultant and Stylist specializing in custom printing. Originally from Fort William in the Scottish Highlands, I now call Glasgow home. With a background in events management and a passion for music as a DJ, I bring a unique blend of creativity and professionalism to my work. Inspired by luxury fashion and global trends, I excel in crafting high-tech mockups and graphic designs. Let me elevate your projects with a casual yet professional touch.

Petesy

Meet Petesy, the self-proclaimed top dog and right-hand companion to Christy at our shop. With a packed schedule of power naps and belly rubs, Petesy ensures everything runs smoothly, even if it means barking to protect his beauty sleep. He's convinced he's the star of the show, and maybe he's right! 🐾😉
